Progress Book

The Tiffin City School District is pleased to announce the addition of ProgressBook for the 2010-2011 school year.  ProgressBook is a classroom management system that combines a teacher’s grade book, seating charts, attendance, lesson plans, report cards, and parent, student, and teacher communication into a single software package.

One important feature of ProgressBook is the Parent Access website.  Parent Access allows ongoing communication between parent, student, and teacher that is essential to a successful educational process.  With 24/7 access parents can view student attendance, homework progress, and grades from any computer with Internet access.  Likewise students will have the same access to their grades, homework assignments, and attendance reports.

Teachers at Columbian High School and Tiffin Middle School will be piloting ProgressBook this school year. The elementary buildings will go on-line in the 2011-2012 school year.  The Parent Access portion became effective January 3, 2011 for parents of students at Columbian and Tiffin Middle School.  Parent Access for elementary students will be available in August of 2011.
